Born and raised in Turkey, he had the opportunity to study in United States at a very
young age. During 1992-1996, he lived within driving distance to both Chicago and
Detroit where he experienced cities’ underground scenes. Listening some of the legends
live in action, had a major influence on both his decision to start DJing as well as the
sound he is into. He started DJing professionally in 1997, and quickly became a
household name. He held residencies at Istanbul’s well-known night clubs like Scene,
Millennium, Open House, Filter and 7th House where he had the chance to
open shows for Cajmere, Gene Farris, Derrick May,
Deep Dish, Chris Simmonds, Michel de Hey, Kerri Chandler and other renowned DJs
from around the world. He also played gigs at clubs such as Switch, Wasp and appeared
in other special events and festivals like J&B Dance & Techno Festival.
Although leaving his active role in music scene to pursue his directing career a decade
ago, he always kept following this dynamic industry, harmonizing his experiences
in both fields.
He now believes it is time to go back to his roots and dive deeper into the wonders of
both producing music and playing gigs. Groovy fat beats being his priority,
he has a wide rangeall the way from house, deep house to tech house and techno.
